Im also certain i read somewhere Zac Lloyd is going to ride a Snaith runner?is that runner scratched?

After yesterdays Royal Ascot victory,im sure the Jeff Lloyd loyalist will have a sentimental flutter on his mount.

minimum weight is 52kg...she will carry that...Zac is set to ride Happy Verse
 

The new race conditions have chased away most of the genuine Gr1 horses, so our richest Gr1 race is now a B division lottery. The sad thing is that more of our Gr1 races will lose their status- the Summer Cup is already on borrowed time, and I can't work up any enthusiasm for this July.

There is a very simple way to end this twaddle - Points system based on graded races over competitive distances - Qualification of the best horses rather than attempts to win with sub-par underweights -

Many points to ponder .... I think that Star Major on ratings would give weight to many others, so I can't have that one - even given that the lady jock would in other races, get a 1,5 kg 'advantage' - but I don't think that would be the case in the July, so SM would carry 57 kg - and give weight to other 3 yr-olds Note To Self, Wish List and Happy Verse; the other thing to consider is that Zackey has not commited to a ride yet (as far as I know) - I think that Bass and Lady Laidlaw is doubtful that Zackey (carded today to have a weight of 54,5 kgs) will make the weight on Viva's Liberty set to carry 53 kgs ....
The other thing to consider is why Regulation is in the betting - at the moment he is 20 on the second log - so at very best he would be the 2nd emergency acceptor and given the prize money, surely the ones above him on the log would run ....
I think it is a proper handicap and many horses must have chances

Won the group 3 Greyville 1900 ,i.m.o will definitely get in
