Munger not the regular pilot of Dave the King needed to slow the pace down from 600m-1400m but he just kept going stretching out and using up the horse's engine leaving him on empty at the end. I am sure Murray the regular pilot who switched to Jan van Goyen would have ridden a better tactical race. Anyway that's me for the day. Sorry guys.

I'm sure Snaith will tell you he couldn't find a race for him to be even half fit before this race but next time he will be right.
It's a guessing game with these trainers if their horses are fit or not.

 

As many opinions as ars#holes - Yes there were technical difficulties - unfortunately while the sprint was running - but take nothin away from the PE horse who ran them off their feet ; as I mentioned, there were a lot of runners that were better over 1200 - and when Buffalo Bill Cody came unstuck (whatever reason), the race was always there for the taking of a proper 1000m horse - the question need to be asked though why we do not have any speedsters over 1000 ?

Then the Kings Plate - was a proper race - and somehow Zackey got through the gap - proper group racing imo 

I think Andrew Fortune said to See It Again ...come on boy let's go get them ...a bit too late it seems.Very unlucky to lose yet again.
