PE Friday changed to the Poly

CHANGE OF SURFACE - 24 JULY '26
Please note that following an average pen of 35 and gallops this morning Fairview's Turf meeting on Friday, 24 July '26 has been moved to the Poly. 
Race 1 distance becomes a 2200.
All other distances remain as is.

What went wrong in PE? It was the best surface in the country a year ago

 After years of drought, we had one of the worst storms in living history. We are battling to get the surface to drain and recover. The ground is unfortunately saturated and it keeps raining. We are unfortunately in the lap of the weather gods on that one, but are doing our best.
 Very frustrating all round.

 17 April was the last time on grass . You can imagine how we as trainers feel by now .... but it's not 4 racing or anybody fault , with that 2 massive storms we had where we had almost 400m of rain and the constant weekly drizzles , winter time , no hot days or very windy days the track just can't dry enough . It is tough , very very tough times for some of us

Priscilla maizey holds a few here on collateral formlines and looks worth an each way nibble @ 12/1 in the 3rd
