2 weeks 1 day ago - 2 weeks 23 hours agowhat has holly have to do with this - are you saying the SA betfair licence belongs to hwb?Easy, remember this is just a soft launch, I'm sure Hollywood will get all the markets and features switched up asap
PS - it's OK, don't answer - I asked my friend (Artificial Insemination) and he explained everything.
No wonder the tote got lumbered 25 tears ago

Try betting on match bets on sport, golf etc. No liquidity so must be only SA money which seems counter productive 🤔

After initially being very excited about BF finally getting here legally, I am thoroughly disappointed.
On SA racing there's better liquidity on interbet. A big thumbs down from me

4 days 23 hours agoJust checked the 1st at Scottsville, the local bookies are better odds ( just looked at top 3 odds) and there has only been £250 matchedAfter initially being very excited about BF finally getting here legally, I am thoroughly disappointed.

dont worry about what you see in the liquidity, in many instances, the bet gets laid to you.
if you see 250 in the liquity, and you want to put 2000 on, ask for 200, then that will get topped up, take another 200 but dont expose your bet and ask for all 2000 at once.
keep nibbling, I just wish i could screenshot some of my local bets.
i ve taken bets to win R100 000 on many instances on SA betfair , but it takes a bit of time, like 5 minutes before the race and you keep asking.
Theres also been many instances where local bookies offering 3/1 and on betfair they are looking for 22/10 for instance.
have money in both accounts and make a profit, but that doesnt happen often but it did happen to a 5% profit after tax on the first race today

i know i overplay my response on this topic, but to anyone who wants to listen then all good.
Dont try and steal money by laying longshots, its the worst possible play, trust me on this , ive paid my school fees.
think like a bookmaker , change your punting mindset , because now you have options.
The shorter the better to lay, like a bookmaker who loves a punter to walk in and back the one at the top of the boards.
that shortie loses, lay the next shortie for a little bit more ( punters mentality in reverse, to the punter it was called chasing), only now the roles are reversed.
in an open 16 field handicap where they are betting 3/1 and above the field, lay the top 3 or 4 depending, your average will be around even money to 15/10 if any of those win, beat them and you get the lotski.
for punters who enjoy the thrill of racing , thats what your stratedgy should be.
Especially in Australian harness racing odds ons , just lay the shorties, you will be in front even if you lose today .
better still lay them for places as well.
sometimes in one race you can lay 3 or 4 horses a place all under even money..do that
as a punter how many times have you caught straight lines PA'S , its hard right? beacuse favourites dont place in every race.
so take advantage and get a thrill of backing every race and having an interest but by laying the odds ons and keeping your exposure to not more than 10 to 20% of your bank.
