PA Quickmix
1 week 1 day ago
I was really looking forward to take this bet today as I was late for the Ascot PA.
Why would you put a 4 runner race in Worcester in the Mix and not even 1 Royal Ascot race?
How do you think that will increase the Pool size?
Let everyone get their money back???

100% agree here. I was also really looking forward the Bipot Qmix, PA Qmix as well as Jpot Qmix during the Ascot racing festival. The okes at TAB seem to get it right on day 1 and I was hopeful this would continue for the week but sadly they are up to no good again. I have purposefully boycotted the above mentioned bets because we do not have the Ascot races included. They literally have 6 and 7 horse low grade handicap fields included yet exclude grade 1 and listed racing from Ascot with field sizes that can exceed 20 runners+ for the UK legs. This is where the value lies and motivates me to have a bet as a punter. Further to that, the fields included are not even main meetings of the day. Make it make sense? I have also taken note of this happening for the past year or 2 with the ascot meeting being excluded especially with large fields in the our local exotics. To be quite frank and honest, the person involved in setting this up at TAB needs to be fired or educated immediately about punters and what attracts them. A person with half a brain cell can do a better job here honesty. I am bitterly disappointed for another year and it looks like this will continue. By any chance, is there any way of communicating this issue through to TAB or 4Racing? Beyond frustrated.

IMO ,Royal Ascot has been excluded by the operator to have punters focus on local race meetings .
Royal Ascot is fully covered on Channel 205 and the operator is trying to divert punters to concentrate on local plus mediocre events .
Absolute disgrace ,these guys up there have no clue what is in the best interest of racing ,optimising turnover and yes what's in the best interest of punters .

Hi Bob
With regards to the QuickMix bets and omitting of the Royal Ascot races is not something we want to do, but is due to a technical limitation, which has been the case for these meetings when there are large fields.
It won't help now, as this is already done and dusted, but a discussion will be had next week to see how we can work around the limitation and be able to include these larger fields in the QuickMix bets.
We do apologise for the inconvenience but will look at all options to see how we can make this work in the future.

Thanks Bob much appreciated 🙏
A long time ago when the field size was more than 20 and less than 30 horses ,all horses more than 20 qualified if number 20 hit the board .
The reply you got just shows the level of incompetence we are dealing with .
Anyway it is what it is ,slow death I guess .
Thanks Bob 🙏

Hi Bob
Elmo is 100% correct that this is how it used to work.
The system was then adjusted to accommodate full fields and no longer needing that rule to be applied as we were able to cater for the full field..
This would then affect the QuickMix bets, as the same rule is being applied.
