We had a decent drive down from Pretoria, although could not believe the number of trucks on the road.
Not sure if you remember, but we brought a small pup to the kids last year — we’re here now to keep an eye on the dogs. I’ve since renamed Max to Mad Max… and I must say, it feels like an ad hoc committee situation — two in the room, but only one will be left standing 🧍♂️. At the moment, Max is odds-on.
That walk nearly finished me, and he is very busy to say the least.
I think I’ll give politics — both international and local — a rest, as it’s only adding to the stress. Donald keeps moving the goalposts, but even he can’t stop Arsenal winning the Premiership. Cyril, on the other hand, has plenty to keep him busy cleaning up the mess at home.

It was good to see Constitution Hill win his second flat race, but if you’re looking for true flat superstars, Meydan is the place to be on Saturday night.
Forever Young, Calandagan and Ombudsman look exceptionally hard to oppose in Dubai — you’d need a drone to stop them.
