I wonder how legal it is to prevent account holders from permanent self excluding or closure of account?

It's easy to open an account but when you try protect yourself, you are told that you need to jump through a few more hoops and get confirmation from the Western Cape Gambling Board before they allow it?


What joke is this?
What happens with consequential losses that are incurred months or years after your request has not been adhered to?

Surely this cowboy behaviour needs to be regulated better.
 

Can't you email for final closure?

So they are trying to get you to close all your accounts by going to the WCGB

Maybe send them another email saying I don't want to self exclude, I want to close my account at play permanently
