I'm just a drifter ☺️

Good morning all — and what another thrilling weekend of sport it’s been.
Constitution Hill was undoubtedly the star of the show. We now wait with bated breath to see where he turns up next. Could the Flat be an option — perhaps the Ebor Handicap or even the Melbourne Cup? There are still lingering questions about whether jumping fully suits him, but one thing is certain — his confidence looks restored. 🤔
Over in Hong Kong, Ka Ying Rising continues to dazzle. Now 18 from 18, he has surpassed the legendary Silent Witness and added yet another 1400m track record to his name. Truly exceptional.
Exciting times lie ahead, with talk of another Everest clash to catch Romantic Warrior and Forever Young — although the Dubai World Cup may be next as they chase further prize-money records.
Closer to home, what about Heart of Midlothian? I mentioned they had drifted to third favourites and looked worth a punt. Hearts secured all three points, while Rangers could only draw with Livingston. To cap it off, Hibernian beat Celtic, giving us a little “Sunshine on Leith”.
In the Premier League, Arsenal needed a strong response to keep Manchester City at bay — and it was Tottenham Hotspur who felt the backlash.
On the subject of drifters: when you have a strong fancy or a hot tip and it drifts in the market, do you rein in your stake — or do you increase it?
As for me, I’m not much of a drifter — although we will be on the move from April through to the end of the year, health permitting.
Here’s a touch of Northern Soul to enjoy:
Enjoy — and good punting 👍

Hearts next 5 matches are all very winnable (maybe Motherwell will make it difficult) before the league splits whereas the old firm meet this weekend so points will be dropped by one or both sides
If Hearts can get 12.13/14/15 points then they will lift the title They still have to play both Rangers and Celtic as do Rangers and Celtic play against each again at the end of the season Hearts must hope that both the Old Firm matches end in a draw
It would be the best thing for Scottish football if Hearts were to win it

Cheers 🍻 Chicken 🐔
agree 😉
Not sure if Scottish football is getting stronger but I notice the big 2 are having a hard time against most of the smaller clubs .....

Celtic and Rangers can’t attract enough good players any longer as they have not got as much available cash as they used to due to not getting into the champions league whereas Hearts are partly owned by the Brighton owner Tony Bloom who also owns race horses and is a huge punter, so he has put a few million into the club. He buys good players from obscure leagues and quickly develops them and sells them on at a huge profit. The players that he has brought into Hearts this season have made all the difference.
