Double Distilled - Why?

The horse has three very poor runs. Mainly ruined rac with bad starts 

Now  comes back  after  682 days.  reason rrested to mature. 

What is the reason to persevere with a horse that does not want to race.

how can a trainer convince someone to pay monthly keep @   10 or 12 grand a month is beyond me ?

so with a 2 YEAR  REST.......   must have been in training for at least 3 x months before this run....  so  OWNER   or TRAINER   about 30k in arrears already.

let's see how he features today.

Read my comments under Black Swan Stud
The original owner bailed 2 years ago and the new guys only recently got involved. 
He was not disgraced this run although he did indeed finish last. He will come on many lengths from this run, and will probably still need his next run.
I will not be surprised if he starts earning within his next couple of runs.

Maiden Handicap. Yuk.
Probably the worst field u could find in the Western Cape

Must have a shout even though out at the weights off a MR 52.
