He was removed ( Dumpy or Bumpy ) because he made that many mistakes, that the overseas operators complained, hence why the other commentators were bussed in and Alan ended up doing course commentating .. Vok I remember one day he called a horse a winner that wasn't even running..

He makes sense and understands racing...he does not tip on reputation or trainer uptalk like so many others...and he does not tip the field like a few in Gauteng...and he definitely does not just randomly pick the biggest outsider
