Would be a travesty if Arctic Silver loses the race due to a weight bag dropping 70m's (or so) from the line. Surely if nothing else it unbalanced the horse... and could not have influenced the outcome...... but there is a nostril in it...so debatable

What a disaster took the double onto Arsenal for tonights champion league game. Got blown away in cold blood how many more f..k ups are occurring in horseracing. Seems like we have a incident weekly ffs.

1 year 2 months agoNot sure why you would say that it 'could not have influenced the outcome' - the horse was carrying more than 6 kgs less - so the logical reason was to disqualify it ?Would be a travesty if Arctic Silver loses the race due to a weight bag dropping 70m's (or so) from the line. Re: VAAL THURSDAY 29TH APRIL 2025
1 year 2 months agoWe can agree to disagree .... in my humble opinion an 800 kg horse at full stride losing 6 kgs in weight for the last 70 m's of the race would not gain any significant advantage ... I understand rules are rules and must be applied but again ... in my opinion the result was not influenced by that saddle bag dropping {shrug}Not sure why you would say that it 'could not have influenced the outcome' - the horse was carrying more than 6 kgs less - so the logical reason was to disqualify it ?Would be a travesty if Arctic Silver loses the race due to a weight bag dropping 70m's (or so) from the line.
