I do a lot of tweeting etc, always scrolling through my Twitter feed
Can tell you one Sharks match will get more tweets on Twitter than the Durban July will..
Yes you will get breeders tweeting links to sales and highlighting winners, websites posting hyperlinks to their website articles etc
But you very rarely see racing fans chatting about racing especially South Africans( American Pharoah was tending still is )

Because a lot of "racing" people are just gamblers. How many tweets do you read regarding the tables at a casino?
