2. TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 28 vs NEWCASTLE 44: Neither side inspires great confidence. Spurs remain worryingly bad whilst Newcastle are too inconsistent to banker despite their 16-point edge on the Goal Guru Index. [2][3]
3. EVERTON 32 vs BOURNEMOUTH 41: The hosts are a gritty outfit and will scrap it out with Bournemouth who have been devoid of luck in many games this season. They play neat football and just need to get the breaks to prevail. The Goal Guru prefers Bournemouth but adds the draw, as an alternative. [2][3]

WEST HAM UNITED 25 vs MANCHESTER UNITED 49: The Hammers are on the uptick and could be a counter-attacking threat at the London Stadium with Summerville on West Ham’s longest scoring streak (5 matches) since Lingard. United have long been praised by the Goal Guru as their underlying metrics are sound and they are now getting the results to propel them into the top four. [2][3]
5. MANCHESTER CITY 49 vs FULHAM 32: City will be lifted by their escape act over Liverpool on Sunday and if sleeping giant, Haaland re-awakens, (as he showed signs of over the weekend) then Fulham could be in big trouble. [1]
6. NOTTINGHAM FOREST 36 vs WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS 23: Forest sport a 13-point edge on the G.G.I. but need to take the initiative when playing lesser teams. Dyche could be on his way out if they don’t send Wolves packing, so the pressure is on. For their part, Wolves sometimes play way better than their lowly log position indicates. 7. CRYSTAL PALACE 33 vs BURNLEY 14: After being on the skids, Palace got an important win over Brighton. They should carry too many guns for Burnley, who despite a spirited surge at the start of the second half versus West Ham, overall offered little and are out of their depth in the EPL. [1]

ASTON VILLA 35 vs BRIGHTON 36: Villa are a textbook example of making the fine margins count – they somehow keep eking out positive results in close games - a feat which has, quite remarkably, propelled them to third on the table. Brighton have been battling the last while, yet with practically the same G.G.I. metric as Villa must be added to perms. [1][2][3]

SUNDERLAND 28 vs LIVERPOOL 54: Speaking of remarkable achievements, who would have thought newly promoted Sunderland would be unbeaten at home going into MatchWeek 26? They come up against a wobbly Liverpool who have only emerged victorious once this year from seven matches. Yet the 26-point advantage Liverpool has on the G.G.I. makes a Sunderland victory highly improbable. The draw or a Liverpool away win is the compromise. [2][3]

BRENTFORD 31 vs ARSENAL 53: Wily and direct, Brentford are the sort of team that can, if the stars align, stress Arsenal out. But skeptical bettors opposing the Gunners have come short nearly every time. To trim costs, Arsenal are bankered in the final midweek match, scheduled for Thursday evening.[3]
