The Last Duke beat Zalatoris at level weights and still gets 2kg from him due to handicap restrictions. Should win again. Believe in Fate not adjusted for close up 3rd in the same race receiving 3.5kg. He is a year older but still ran to about MR 90 but got no adjustment to his 85. He is the best bet on the card if he reproduces that run and the double is worth taking.

Unfortunately the game is indeed 'fecked' - one has to agree (for once) with the NHA / 4Racing - no sense in having 3 horse fields with the same prize money - and check the card on Tuesday at the Vaal - even worse
Thoughts on today - I don't 'believe' in Believe in Fate - I accept that he is rated a near certainty, BUT ....  full brother to Zarina, so I think the 1160m should not be ideal - even though I banked him in one BP ....
I think the Stenger / v Rensburg combo would win the first 2 races, and then BBC looks to pick himself; from the 5th it seems more competitive; in the 6th I think Rifle Queen can be considered as a banker, while I hold a candle for Grace's Kiss in the 8th and Sikeloi in the 9th ....

Enjoy

Hard ride for Chase Maujean... The better horse, but Rachel kept her head and made it very difficult for him.
