Warning Sound poor effort.

Two runners at Fairview on Friday. Lyrics and Songs in race 2. Tougher task here at level weights, but quite a weak field so could run into the money.
Disruptive in race 3. Won’t mind the switch to poly, and has the plum draw. Slipped at the start last time, so much better than that effort. Open race, but expecting him to be in the shakeup.

Disruptive badly bumped. When will the stipes take proper action against kamikaze pilots and careless and dangerous riding???

Two runners at Greyville on July day.
Kaalvoet in race 9, Merchants. He is an improving 3yo and gets the plum draw. Very tough race, but hoping he can step up again.
He is 2kg worse off with Speedman for a narrow victory, so no surprise that the big guns have bought  Speedman. The established older sprinters must all be respected but have to carry the weight.
Captain Selvie in race 11. Is in good form, and nice draw, but goes on the poly for the first time. If she handles the surface is a big runner.

Both Kaalvoet and Captain Selvie very disappointing runs.

One runner at Turffontein on Sunday.
Almond Sea in race 8. Sadly she did not compete in the feature races in KZN, and now runs in another Pinnacle. Takes on the boys but on best form can win this especially title he fillies allowance.

Almond Sea scratched.
4 Runners at Durbanville on Tuesday.
Race 1. Warrior of Destiny looks ready to win. Main danger is Royal Light and You Made Me Look.
Also in Race 1 , Sway in Style and Floral Burst. Both still on a learning curve, but could sneak into quartets with some improvement.
Race 5. Double Dash. Open race, but must have an ew shout- likes this track and top jock up.

Warrior of Destiny fair run in 2nd. Course was running fast and the time for this race was v good.
The 2 fillies faded out- both still need to strengthen up.
Double Dash handy but faded out.

One runner at Greyville on Wednesday
Golden Angel in race4. Just touched off last time and gets a plum draw. We think that she should stay the 2000m now that she is more mature.
Good winning chance. Ebisu is the one to beat, but she is a year younger and has to give us weight. Last Ovation is improving and Sesame gets the 4kg claim so also have chances.

Golden Angel slow away which is criminal from a plum draw. Ran on well from too far back, and then baulked late which cost her 3rd place- dirty fourth.
Sabre Wing at Durbanville on Saturday jumped from a wide gate, and settled at the rear. Moved smoothly through the field without being punished into third.
Super debut run and looks  very promising, and should be followed next time.

Two runners at Scottsville on Sunday. The 2 sisters De Vugge in race 5 and Caribbean Gold in race 9.
De Vlugge has been in superb form on the poly, winning four in a row, but is now up to a MR 95. She did win at this course, but it remains to be seen how she will do back on turf off this rating. Hoping she can continue to impress, as she is now at the level where some black type is possible in future. Very competitive race.
Caribbean Gold has been very disappointing her two KZN runs. Hoping that she can bounce back to form. She has shown plenty of speed and both wins over 1000m, but the rest of the siblings all better 1400m.

The handicapper has caught up with De Vlugge, but still a game run.
Improved effort from Caribbean Gold, not far off the winner.

One runner at Vaal on Thursday.
Charleston Dawn in race 1. Changed stables and returns from a 3 month break. If not needing the run has a chance in a moderate field. I think that the 1000m will suit.
Caladrius and Master's lady the two to beat.

Charleston Dawn beaten 6 L   Looked in need of the run.

Three struggling maidens were all in race 1 at Fairview on Friday- Luca Da Wheels ran best of the 3 -fast finishing 2nd. fair run by Dead Poets Society in 4th. Lyrics and Songs faded badly.

One runner at Greyville on Sunday.
Kaalvoet in race 10. Unfortunately gets a wide draw, which is a problem for him as if they go forward he is likely to over-race, and if they drop out will have a very tough task to make up the ground with the short run in. If he had cracked a draw I would have fancied him, as he has developed into a good sprinter and may still have improvement to come.
Very competitive race, and at the weights stablemate Chapbook looks the one to beat from a neat draw. He tries this track for the first time, but that shouldn't be a problem.
